This is one of the most fundamental questions of philosophy, but also a question that concerns us all. According to the classical definition, truth simply is the compliance of thinking and being? If so, what exactly does that mean? And can we ever attain truth in this sense? Or does truth somehow depend on us? Could it be that truth is "relative", that one person's truth is not another person's truth? Are there "alternative truths"? These and other questions are at the core here.
