Hiking with children at Tegernsee
For hiking with children at Tegernsee, there are numerous exciting hiking trails around the Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach. Take the cable car up to Wallberg and enjoy the unique view from above. Hike to mountain huts and reward yourself with a delicious snack, or let the kids have fun at the playground or explore the adventure trail along the Weissach river. Bachmair Weissach outdoor games area
The new outdoor play area is located directly between the Bachmair Weissach Spa & Resort and our Tegernsee Phantastisch edutainment centre. A playground with swings, a fast-paced flying fox and various climbing opportunities await the little ones there. For all keen cyclists, scooter riders and skateboarders, there is also a specially designed pump track where young and old can put their skills to the test.
Tegernsee in winter with children
Enjoy winter at Lake Tegernsee with the whole family. Horse-drawn carriage rides through snow-covered forests, fun in the snow tobogganing on Lake Tegernsee or fun on the slopes in one of the surrounding ski areas: Winter at Lake Tegernsee offers plenty of opportunities for family fun.
Tobogganing at Lake Tegernsee is a winter pleasure for the whole family. In addition to several shorter toboggan runs in the region, toboggan fans will find a 6.5 km run on the natural toboggan run on the Wallberg, making it one of the longest toboggan runs in the region. The ascent can be made on foot or comfortably with the Wallberg cable car. You can conveniently hire toboggans for tobogganing fun from our concierge desk at the Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach - we will take you to the valley station of the Wallbergbahn cable car by shuttle.

Swimming and Watersports at Lake Tegernsee
Discover Lake Tegernsee together with your family! Enjoy a refreshing swim in clear water or relax by the shore, taking in the view of the mountains. For the adventurous, there are various watersports activities such as stand-up paddleboarding or pedal boating. Begin your aquatic adventure right from the Bachmair Weissach Beach. You'll also find family-friendly areas with shallow water and playgrounds in the numerous beach resorts.
Horse riding at Lake Tegernsee
Interacting with horses is a particularly fascinating experience for young and old alike. At our riding centre, which is adjacent to the Bachmair Weissach Spa & Resort, we offer children and adults a wide range of riding activities, from lunchtime lessons for youngsters to Shetland pony meet-and-greet and private or group lessons.
Climbing Forest at Ödberg
For little "climbers" from the age of 5, a visit to the climbing forest Kletterwald-Tegernsee, the high ropes course in the forest on the Ödberg, is a super fun adventure.
The six different courses offer different levels of difficulty, depending on the age of the children (always accompanied by an adult). Children can practise climbing various obstacles and shimmy or swing from tree to tree.
Summer Sledge Run at Ödberg
Where skiers whizz downhill in winter, the summer sledge run on the Ödberg opens from around mid May. After a short ride on the T-bar lift, the speedy "Ödberg Flizzern" will take you down to the valley on straights, steep curves, and small jumps.
There is also a large adventure playground and a small petting zoo at Ödberg.
Scavenger hunt!
Have fun playing Tegernsee bike detectives! Hike or cycle to various destinations in the Tegernsee valley and practice your investigative skills by solving riddles. By answering just three questions, you can win fun prizes, including a 3 ride ticket for the summer sledge run at Ödberg or a ride up and down the mountain on the Wallberg cable car.

Christmas for the family
Spend Christmas at Lake Tegernsee in our family suite including evening dine-around menus as part of our ¾ gourmet board. 23.Dec. means "Buon Natale" - you and your family will spend a family dinner in our Italian restaurant Gardone. Up to two children up to the age of 10 years stay free of charge with this offer.
Also included is a carriage ride with mulled wine and punch (carriage ride not exclusive, subject to minimum number of participants).
