Condé Nast Traveller Wellness & Spa Award 2025 goes to the Tegernsee Luxury Resort

The Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach has received a prestigious international distinction: Condé Nast Traveller, one of the world’s most renowned travel magazines, has presented the resort with the inaugural Wellness & Spa Award 2025. In the category “Family Hideaway”, the five-star resort on Lake Tegernsee was named best in class – honored for a unique concept that seamlessly blends luxury, culture, nature, and family excellence at the highest level.

Hotelier and visionary Korbinian Kohler personally accepted the award from Divia Thani, Global Editorial Director of Condé Nast Traveller, and Dennis Braatz, Head of Editorial Content of Condé Nast Traveller Germany. Max Scharnigg(author, journalist, and editor) delivered a celebratory and thoughtful laudation for owner Korbinian Kohler and his Bachmair Weissach world at Tegernsee. The jury recognized the resort’s unparalleled breadth – from deep moments of mindfulness and philosophical dialogue to Japanese onsen rituals, culinary highlights, and a wide range of family experiences.
