There is always something to experience at the Kids Club of the Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach. Whether crafting, romping around or children’s cinema – this is a place where children can simply be children.

For us, a holiday at the Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach always means fun for the whole family. And every little moment of it should be savoured. After our children had fallen so in love with the Family Spa and were completely overwhelmed by Tegernsee Phantastisch, a visit to the Kids Club was, of course, still on the agenda. And this new adventure begins for them the moment they arrive.

Because here at the Kids Club, there is quite literally a big hello: the little ones are welcomed like old friends, and despite some initial shyness, the ice is quickly broken. Each child is given a name tag, and then it is time to begin.

But with what? The offering is enormous. Wide-eyed with excitement, the children first look around in amazement. Across 260 square metres, spread over four rooms, there are building blocks and Lego, dolls and Playmobil, a cosy corner, board games and countless vehicles. There is also a billiard table, air hockey and plenty of creative activities.

Every morning, children craft, carve or paint here. Depending on the season, there is always something new to discover. In autumn, kites are made; in summer, rainbows are crafted; in winter, snowmen are created; and in spring, flower meadows come to life. And all of this using the most varied materials – the 12-member team gives free rein to its creativity, adapting everything individually according to the children’s skills.

Whether beads or paper, modelling clay or wood, the artworks created by our little ones are lasting memories in any case. The ideas and their execution are always new as well: small ice lollies are made from ironing beads and a wooden stick, or a mobile for the children’s room is created from colourful paper balls. No wonder the children do not want to leave.

Unless, of course, it is time for an outing with the entire Kids Club crew, which takes place every day after the lunch break. Today, the destination is the ponies in the neighbouring hotel-owned stable and the playground – great fun for everyone. But visits to the new experience world Tegernsee Phantastisch, jumping in puddles, picking flowers or an exciting nature bingo are also part of the weekly programme in rotation. And, of course, the big treasure hunts organised by the team. Here, the whole family is welcome to join in.

After so much action and fun for the little ones, and a relaxing spa day for my husband and me, we are all looking forward to the cinema evening taking place today. Children aged three and above may take part in all Kids Club activities without their parents, but our little ones would like us to come along. Together with the childcare team, they have chosen Disney’s The Little Mermaid for today. Equipped with popcorn, we snuggle into the cushions and experience the story of the little mermaid together.

A wonderful end to an eventful day. But what can one say: of course, on the day of departure, the little ones want to go back to the Kids Club immediately after breakfast. Practical for us – we take one more swim and can then pack in peace. Holidays can gladly always be this relaxed.
