How Can Germany Secure Economic Prosperity in the Future?
Lecture on December 13, 2024
The German economy is facing significant challenges. For some time, issues like demographic change, climate change, and the digital transformation of the economy have been high on the agenda for both business and politics. Current crises have added to these concerns with geopolitical tensions, protectionism, energy shortages, and increasing defense costs. Where does Germany stand in tackling these challenges, and what steps are necessary to secure economic prosperity under these conditions? This lecture will focus on addressing these critical questions.

One provocative question remains: Will Germany find the courage to break away from old industries and make room for the future?
