Prof. Dr. Gerhard Ernst

About the speaker

Gerhard Ernst has held a chair in philosophy at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg since 2012. From 2008 to 2012, he was a professor of philosophy at the University of Stuttgart. He studied not only philosophy, logic and the philosophy of science, but also physics. He has conducted research and published works in both fields.

His highly acclaimed publications include *The Problem of Knowledge* (2002) and *The Objectivity of Morality* (2008). He is currently President of the German Society for Philosophy.
